Description
Ostarine is a compound that was initially created to help fight muscle wasting diseases. It selectively binds to androgen receptors in the body and has been shown to have beneficial effects on muscle structure and metabolism. A recent study found that MK–677, which is a Ghrelin mimetic, enhances growth hormone secretion and increases fat free mass over a 12–month period. This could potentially lead to further evaluation of its efficacy in improving physical function and health outcomes in select populations.
