MK 677 is an investigational anabolic agent that has been shown to increase lean body mass, muscle mass and reduce overall body fat. Studies suggest that MK–677 may promote muscle growth by stimulating the release of growth hormones and IGF–1 from the pituitary gland and liver, respectively. These hormones work together to increase protein synthesis and strength while also enhancing recovery and nitrogen retention.

MK 677 is a growth hormone stimulator that mimics the action of ghrelin in the brain. It is not known to have any negative impact on natural androgen production or testosterone levels.
