Description
Theacrine powder is an alkaloid from the Camellia plant (Theaceae) with caffeine-like properties. It is found in tea leaves (Camellia sinensis), in certain coffee species, and in certain other plants.
Theacrine has been shown to have several pharmacological effects, including promotion of wakefulness and calmness, promotion of focus and concentration, and promotion of motivation and energy.
Theacrine has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, and anti-diabetic effects.
