Vinpocetine is extracted from the seeds of the lesser periwinkle plant. It is a vasodilator and cerebral metabolism enhancer, and is used in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and age-related cognitive decline.
This product is available without a prescription. Vinpocetine is also known as Cavinton, Cavinton Forte, Intelectol, and Intelectol Forte.
