Description

SR9009 and SR9011 are compounds that have been found to improve dyslipidemia and hyperglycemia in diet-induced obese mice. These compounds activate the REV-ERB protein, which enhances circadian rhythm. This affects behaviour, sleep cycle and some functions related to increment in energy production. Additionally, mice administered SR9009 were found to be able to run longer distances and for longer durations than vehicle-treated mice, and the number of total and active mitochondria was also found to be increased.
