Description

PT–141 is a peptide that was originally created to be a sunless tanning agent, but it also has the ability to increase sexual function. It is a synthetic variation of a naturally occurring peptide, and it is a non–selective agonist of melanocortin receptors. This means that it affects all of the melanocortin receptors, but specifically the MC4 receptor which is responsible for sexual behaviors.

The side effects of PT 141 peptide include nausea, flushing, headache, vomiting, fatigue, hot flashes, dizziness, and coughing. Hyperpigmentation is also a potential side effect. PT 141 peptide should not be taken by those who have high blood pressure or cardiovascular disease. It may also lower the oral absorption of other medications.
