Research Use Notice

Handling, storage, and disposal guidelines for research chemicals sold on this site.

Last updated: June 2025

Important

Every product sold on OnPeptides.com is intended strictly for laboratory research and development purposes. Products are not for human consumption, animal consumption, medical use, veterinary use, cosmetic use, or in-vivo administration.

1. Purchaser affirmations

By placing an order you affirm that you are:

  • At least 21 years of age;
  • A qualified researcher, laboratory staff member, or purchasing agent for a laboratory or research institution;
  • Operating within a controlled laboratory environment with the training and equipment to handle research chemicals safely;
  • In compliance with all local, state, national, and international laws that apply to your jurisdiction.

2. Handling

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times: nitrile gloves, safety glasses, and a lab coat as a minimum.
  • Handle powders in a fume hood or laminar-flow cabinet where possible to prevent inhalation.
  • Reconstitute lyophilized peptides under sterile technique using bacteriostatic water or sterile diluent appropriate to the compound.
  • Never open vials or bottles outside a controlled laboratory setting.

3. Storage

  • Lyophilized peptides: store sealed at −20°C. Once reconstituted, keep at 2–8°C and use within 21 days.
  • Powdered small-molecule research chemicals: store sealed with desiccant at −20°C (long-term) or 2–8°C (short-term). Protect from moisture, light, and oxygen.
  • Encapsulated compounds: store at 15–25°C with the desiccant sachet intact.
  • Topical solutions: store sealed at room temperature (15–25°C) away from direct sunlight.
  • Do not store any product where children, pets, or unauthorised individuals can access it.

4. Freeze / thaw cycles

Repeated freeze/thaw cycles degrade peptides. Aliquot reconstituted material into single-use fractions and freeze aliquots that will not be used within 21 days at −80°C. Discard any solution that shows precipitate, discolouration, or contamination.

5. Waste disposal

Dispose of unused compound, empty vials, syringes, and any contaminated materials in accordance with your institution’s hazardous chemical waste program and applicable EPA/OSHA regulations. Never dispose of research chemicals in household waste or in the sewer.

6. Documentation

Every batch is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) accessible in the COA Directory. Retain the COA in your laboratory records for the working life of the batch.

7. Adverse events

If you observe an unexpected result during in-vitro research (for example, a peptide that fails to reconstitute cleanly or a compound whose analytical trace differs from the published COA), notify us within 30 days at support@onpeptides.com so we can investigate the lot.

8. Prohibited uses

You may not:

  • Administer any product to a human being or animal;
  • Use any product as a food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or medicinal preparation;
  • Resell products to consumers or in a manner that suggests human use;
  • Represent our products as pharmaceutical grade or FDA-approved.

9. Regulatory disclaimer

None of the compounds on OnPeptides.com have been evaluated by the FDA, EMA, or any equivalent regulatory body for use in the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease. No statement on this website should be interpreted as medical advice.
